Elias De La Garza is happily married to Esther and they have two wonderful children; a son, Seth, and a daughter, Joy.  A devoted family man, Elias is involved in his son’s activities such as the East End Little League where his son played t-ball and enjoys participating in his daughter’s activities.

Elias is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown. 

A self-made businessman, Elias is the founder of Elias De La Garza Insurance Brokers established in 2000.  It is a fast growing insurance agency providing quality insurance policies including auto, home, life, commercial and other needs specializing in the Hispanic community, greater Houston area and throughout Texas.  Elias is also President of a family owned real estate investment business operating in the Houston Harris County area for over 24 years that offers opportunities in home ownership and/or commercial ownership for investment.

Elias is involved in numerous community organizations and projects throughout the City and metropolitan area.  He is always involved to ensure that his community and City is well represented for the betterment of its residents. He has participated and volunteered in several local political campaigns and political initiatives improving the quality of life for our neighborhoods and improving the business climate to succeed.
